About Eye Street Opticians
Our History
The practice was originally founded by Mr Giles in the 1960s and moved to its current site in 1972. It passed through various generations of the Giles family until 1990 when the last Mr Giles retired, and the practice was bought by Martyn Kemp and became part of the Martyn Kemp Opticians group. In 2016 Martyn retired and the practice was then taken over by Mark Hazlewood and Eye Street Opticians was born.
